Last Saturday saw the wedding of Steve and Libby at the Yew Tree Gallery, West Penwith followed by an hours stroll over the moors and then gorgeous canapes and meal at the Gurnard’s Head. Luckily after all the winds the weather was still and dry but the theme of posh frocks and wellies meant we were well footed for our walk up to Watchcroft. People had come from as far as Australia for this day and it was a privilege once again to affirm family, friends, caring and above all love. Being loved for exactly who you are. The ceremony very much reflected this. It was simple, humorous, and poignant. Steve and Libby had chosen to have me playing the Native American flute to open and then bubbles instead of confetti as they re-entered the world as husband and wife. It was a wonderful day and an honor to be their celebrant. Thank you Steve and Libby and all their guests.
